Nathan Frankoff is a digital artist with a passion for physical media who graduated from UMBC with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Animation and Interactive Media. Proficient in Adobe Suite (Premier, After Effects, Photoshop), he has been working most recently on strengthening skills utilizing Zbrush and Maya to rig and animate custom 3D animated builds.
An eclectic background studying US History ranging from Colonial through WWII has been a source of inspiration and motivation in recent delivered works. BEARINGS of Baltimore, Circa 1815 on display at the Maryland Historical Society was Nathan’s first contributions to a live delivered piece.
Then a college internship working with a live production environment contributing models and edits for mobile and 3D VR and proposed concept games was Nathan’s transition from interactive gallery pieces to the gaming industry. With a wide-ranging skill set, contributing to the gaming industry is the next step in Nathan’s journey.
Motivated by the complex and developed worlds that inspired a creative mind as a child, and the monumental and unprecedented innovation of the gaming tech industry - Nathan is a multi-faceted artist with an eye for detail and a big-picture goal.
